Paid for a game that is no longer offered. Now I am only able to download a demo that has less gameplay. The developer took our money and pulled the rug out from under us, expecting longtime supporters to pay AGAIN on a different platform.
I highly recommend anyone affected by this unethical practice report the developer and leave a poor rating.
yep I don't remember how they jusyfied it, but something along the lines of "oops sorry should have been obvious your just buying a demo, I mean come on that cheap?"
Then they removed everything after their steam release, after we got angry enough they released a Demo Version 2 and left it there.
I'm reporting the developer for selling a product they never planned to finish on the platform, this is a total scam. I'm going to buy the game on steam just to leave a bad review and refund it now. Hope you dev's understand you've destroyed your community!

And then, to top it off, they didn’t say anything about the fact that if they release the game on Itch, those who already bought it would have to pay again. Most other devs don’t do that—and if they do, they at least mention it in a dev log. So basically, you end up paying more than necessary. Gonna see if I can get a refund and maybe put that money toward another project.
I talked to the regional manager for the publisher, its the developers fault not theirs and the publisher was against this practice. Yet they arent going to do more besides make this $3 version free and thats it. Unfortunately it seems the already mixed steam reviews and poor sales wont get the hundreds of itch sales it would've had.

There shouldn't be a restriction on it like someone else had happen, no other games in my library have that issue, so I don't think it's a regional issue

Hello, Yes it's partially work, but before sleep is Friday, and save on black screen and load is also Friday. I found this solution:
1) Find your GameData in Documents/Gatolobo.
2) Back up your GameData.PHD file (we recommend the way the issue kicks in, you may be able to recover your saves)
3) Open Peach Hills Division Game and start a new game. Pause it with ESC
4) Without closing the game, press ALT+TAB to open your Windows Explorer with Documents/GatoLobo open. Restore your save files.
5) Return to the game. You can return to the main menu.
6) Load the game.
but some steps are missing / unclear. 1) ok 2) backup ok, but what else dalete? 3) ok 4) saves are in different location appdata\ ... restore, what for if nobody move them or delete them 5) 6) ok
game looks great but crashes way to often to actually play it, I've had to start a new game 3 times just to get past the tutorial just for it to crash again. for some reason the quest keep popping up even after finishing them and i have no idea why I can leave an area while in the middle of talking to an NPC to glitch the entire game. I wanna give this game a try but ill wait until they do some bug fixes.

The art style for the 2D renders , but I really wish there was like some smooth Motion in there or something . The 3D models are good, but there's something special about that 2D art you have

I understand that a lot of people preferably like more the computers to play, ok, but is waaaaay better to play on the comfort of my bed instead of going to a desk or using a macbook, like I'm playing to FAP, you know? Not to kill a dragon lmao 😂
Downloaded the demo, but once it gets past the Gato Lobo splash screen and the age disclaimer it just hangs on the "In Development" screen. I've hit every key on my keyboard, tried plugging in my controller and using that, clicked on every square inch of screen, nothing. I do tend to have resolution issues with most games where some of the UI is cut off? Is there a button on one of the extreme edges of the screen that I have to click or something? Either way, having a keyboard shortcut for confirmation or access to the settings prior to this screen would be incredibly useful.
hey! if it is indeed a screen resolution problem, there is an ‘x’ in the bottom right corner to remove it, you can press ALT+ ENTER to make a window and you can see the whole thing.
In the next version this has been fixed and simply clicking anywhere on the screen will remove it.

I bought it when it was $3USD so it definitely would've been very early on in releases.

Yes, but when I click into it I get a message about 2/3rd of the way down that says "nothing is available for download yet"
Trust me, my issue isn't knowing how to find where to download it, it's that the download file doesn't exist
